The application takes about 10 minutes to complete, but will save tons of time in the logistical process later on. The 2018 Call for Makers is now open!

We’re looking for Makers from all over the community and beyond to join us for another epic Palm Beach Mini Maker Faire. Last year we had around 60 Makers and 1,000 attendees. This year, our goal is 75 Makers and 1,500 attendees! Help us turn Palm Beach into a “Maker” hub for creatives of all kinds.

3-2-1 LIFT OFF! We are so excited to announce that there will be a water bottle rocket launch zone at Palm Beach Mini Maker Faire 2017! All guests can build a rocket out of 2L bottles and recyclable materials provided by Resource Depot. Launch zone is located in the field on the North side of the South Florida Science Center’s parking lot. Will be identified on Maker Faire map when guests arrive.

ALLAXIS CEO, Alex Lorenzo is a designer with over 30+ years of experience in the field of Computer Aided Design (CAD). Having pioneered the technology since the time of manual hand-drafting Alex is considered by many to be an expert in the field. In 2013, Alex formed ALLAXIS 3D Printers to provide sales & services for the 3D printing market. The son of Cuban immigrants, Alex is a native of West Palm Beach Florida where he still resides.

We’d like to welcome Textural Monotype Printing to Palm Beach Mini Maker Faire 2017! Monotypes, known as the painterly print, are unique works on paper made by transferring an inked up surface onto paper. Explore ways to make a textural monotype of your own in this hands on activity. This and so much more will be featured at the South Florida Science Center on May 13th from 10am – 4pm. #PalmBeachMakers
