We need your help!

The Palm Beach Mini Maker Faire is expected to draw over 1,000 people to see a wide variety of maker exhibits, workshops, and engage in other cool presentations.

The logistics required for this event are challenging, therefore we are seeking passionate volunteers who embrace the spirit of Maker Faire and the creativity and resourcefulness that it represents.

If you are interested in any of the opportunities below, please contact Kristian at kzambrana@coxsciencecenter.org. You must be at least 14 years of age to volunteer. We are not accepting any court-ordered volunteers at this time.

We need your help identifying local hobbyists, artists and commercial makers to exhibit at Palm Beach Mini Maker Faire, as well as spreading the word about this awesome event!

  • Maker Identification (applications close April 30th): Helping the producers identify Makers is very important. If you know someone who is working on a cool DIY project, please encourage them to show and tell their creations by filling out our Call for Makers application here. If they have any questions about exhibition space, or whether their project is a good fit for the Palm Beach Mini Maker Faire, they can contact us directly at kholt@coxsciencecenter.org
  • Registration Desk: Greet and assist Palm Beach Mini Maker Faire attendees to check-in and walk-up registration.

  • Information and Lost/Found Desk: Greet and assist Faire attendees to learn more about the day’s events, locations, and amenities.

  • Venue Assistant: Working with Event Staff to assist exhibitors to get set up, tear down, crowd control, and general assistance.

  • Workshop Assistant: If you have a specific skill set like you know how to work with tools for electronics, wood, or other materials you can be assigned to help conduct a workshop.
